Dr Andersen is a gastrointestinal surgeon with special interest in colorectal cancer surgery, laparoscopic surgery and anoproctology. He has lived and worked as a general surgeon in Ethiopia with experience in performing surgery in resource-limited settings.  He joined the Foundation board in 2022.
